Protect-Her contains the same wonderful active ingredients as Savvy Udder Salve, but in a 100% oil-based liquid form designed for use in a teat dipper.

This versatile liquid formula acts as a protective barrier to help with mastitis, cracked, or chapped teats and is an especially great option to use in cold weather or when dealing with high somatic cell count (SCC). The 100% oil-based formula coats and protects teats more effectively in cold conditions where water-based products may freeze or become less effective.

A powerful blend of camphor, cinnamon, clove bud, eucalyptus, ginger, peppermint, pine needle, rosemary, sage, tea tree, and wintergreen essential oils provides broad-spectrum natural antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral botanical support to teat and udder tissue. A nourishing base of castor oil, organic olive oil, grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, safflower oil, and vitamin E oil deeply conditions and protects teat skin during and after milking.

Protect-Her can also be applied directly to inflamed or infected udders, swollen legs, or any other area of injury or infection, making it a versatile addition to any natural livestock care program.

Dr. Sarah's Essentials products are made with high-quality, non-toxic, natural ingredients designed to support animal health and healing.

    excellent liniment

I use this on cow udders and teats. I think it helps with inflammation and high SCC. I like the controlled dosing with a lotion pump.

    Best teat dip

We started using this in our MN winter. We would double dip. Once with "Protect Her" and then right over that with a dry powdered winter teat dip. If you just use "Protect Her", teats can still get frostbite. We have continued using it in the spring into summer. Don't think we'll go back to anything else, as our somatic cell counts are consistently lower than we have ever had in over 15 years of milking cows. Great product!
