Esther Joy
Digital Operations
Meet Esther! Dr. Sarah's sister, the behind-the-scenes force who keeps Dr. Sarah's Essentials running with heart, precision, and a deep love for the brand.
Esther lives in central Minnesota with her husband and children. Her family loves spending time outdoors together, camping, gardening, and exploring new trails. She also enjoys reading, writing, creating with her hands, and stealing quiet moments with a cup of tea whenever life allows.
Anyone who has seen Esther work knows she brings a rare combination of creativity and technical precision to everything she touches. From building out the online store and crafting product descriptions to designing labels, managing digital content, and keeping the website running smoothly, Esther is the steady hand behind the brand's polished, professional presence. She has a deep understanding of what it takes to bring a small business to life online, and she brings that knowledge to every corner of Dr. Sarah's Essentials.
As Sarah's sister, being part of this business isn't just a job for Esther; it's personal. The brand reflects the same values they grew up with: a commitment to wellness, natural living, and faith. Getting to build something meaningful alongside family makes the work that much more rewarding.
Beyond Dr. Sarah's Essentials, Esther runs her own business, by Esther JoyFull, where she helps other small businesses build and grow their Shopify presence. During the week, she serves as an Instructional Designer at the University of Minnesota's Business School, bringing the same passion for making complex things feel simple and approachable to her professional work.
Esther holds a B.S. in Business Education and Information Systems and a Master's in Learning Technology, both from the University of Minnesota, along with a certificate in Project Management. She is passionate about making technology feel purposeful and accessible and loves using those skills to help bring Dr. Sarah's holistic, natural products to more families across the country.
